Hungary’s seasonally-adjusted Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) rose to 55.6 points in July from 55.0 in June, advancing further past the 50-point threshold that signals expansion in the manufacturing sector.

The new orders index rose in July from the previous month, while the production volume index declined. The employment index showed expansion for the third consecutive month.
