The basement collapsed on three men doing renovation work in Miskolc, police reported. The victims were working in the basement on Wednesday morning when the basement ceiling collapsed, burying the three young men beneath it.
Disaster management closed off the area while they began rescuing the workers, which requires special measures. They say that there are no signs of life from the men trapped under the ruins. The Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Police Headquarters initiated criminal proceedings due to suspicion of occupational endangerment.
