From Monday More Than a Hundred Mentally Disabled Children Cannot Get to School Due to the Fuel Situation in Hungary

Local News

More than a hundred mentally disabled children cannot get to school from Monday, because the Szimbiózis Foundation in Miskolc will no longer be able to transport them, RTL News reported.

The foundation has run out of its annual fuel quota, and the market price of fuel is so high that they cannot pay for it. The foundation transports the children with four minibuses a day, who are assisted by qualified attendants. There are parents who cannot arrange transport and thus cannot send their child to school, instead they will try to arrange education at home.
